Taken as part of a series of shots with my then-new Canon EOS 350 DSLR , using my then-new 17-85 mm zoom lens. Part of a guided walk we organised from Finsbury Park to The British Museum, Bloomsbury. Lincoln's Inn Fields is tucked away behind Holborn station. I really like the juxtaposition of bark texture and translucent red leaves. The sitting figure adds scale and perspective to a very tranquil scene.
